When you make bold changes, be prepared for ‘the backlash’.
Some might say you shouldn’t, you can’t, or you will not make it.
You might be cheered on by some who will scream ‘run!’ while you are walking to ease yourself into your new workout routine.
Oh, I’ve experienced this and it doesn’t always apply to my workout! There’s almost always people who think that there is a better way for me to do what I want to (and sometimes they are right!). However, what other people think about my vision isn’t always true, and that is the same for you.
In fact, because no one else sees your vision quite like you do, it’s hard for other people to accurately judge it.
Please take potentially negative feedback as a positive signal and not as a form of limitation. You know why you have chosen to walk and that’s what’s important.
AND
The naysayers don’t understand what they do; because they don’t understand YOUR vision.
I am flexible in that I choose to grow from feedback. However, I am immune to naysayers to the point that this message is being written from a hunch. The idea just popped into my head without a source of trigger, and I thought it great to share with you. When I’m inspired to write on a topic, I always know that there is someone who needs to hear it.
Otherwise, I barely notice naysayers, negative commenters, and the ones who have good-intent but are just expressing their feelings…
If a message brings me a wakeup call, I might explore it; but most times, I find it wiser to overlook other people’s opinions about my vision.
They don’t have my vision. I do.
You’ve got to be immune to naysayers on your journey of realizing YOUR vision.
People will have things to say – things that will not always sit right with you, and that’s okay.
I don’t know what you want. I’m just a Guide who knows you can realize your vision. It is simply possible, and I find great pleasure in cheering you on.
All the best now.
